So I got invited to attend the Women's Fashion Week at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands last November 25th and the experience is really great! My friend Abbey and I had loads of fun and we really enjoyed watching the show and taking photos/videos of each of the models. What's even more fun was our preparation for the event.
I don't have a lot of dresses to choose from so I had to really think if I gotta buy a new dress just for this event. My hubby suggested that I wear the blue dress that I wore on my 28th birthday, and so I did. At first, I didn't think that it will look good, so I asked Abbey for her opinion. Good thing, she's a fashionista so she quickly gave me some tips on how to spice up my attire without having to spend so much money. And that's where the fun started.
She brought me to Bugis Village, and it's one of those places here in Singapore where you can really find a good purchase for a very favorable price.
So to perk my blue dress up a little bit, I bought this baby pink belt with this gold buckle. I'm not sure if you can see it clearly but the intricate design on the buckle made it special.
And because I have almost zero tolerance to cold, I gotta have some kind of blazer or shawl. We actually first bought a white blazer but when I got home that day and tried it on together with my blue dress, I didn't find it good together so I had to get a shawl the next day.
I love this vintage necklace!
These earrings are a little bit heavy, haha.
lovin' these bangles!
I also bought all of these accessories from Bugis Village - it really is a one-stop shopping place!
Shoes from MENDREZ/Women
my new Charles & Keith bag - RAWR!
I also don't own any small/clutch bag that I can bring to events like this so I had to buy one. Luckily, my hubby offered to buy me one and so this baby right here is part of his Christmas gifts to me. Yay!

Not too
long ago, I created an Ice Queen Inspired Makeup Tutorial so when I attended the Women’s Fashion Week 2012
here in Singapore and saw Moiselle’s
editorial campaign for their latest Fall Winter collection, it’s like telling
me that I’m destined to see the show even before I received my official invite.
The show is about to start...
It seems
like each piece of clothing that they presented was created with such
sophistication and serious dedication for intricate detail which for me made
this Fall Winter collection a true work of art.
I am YouTube beauty junkie but I am still new in
the beauty blogging industry, so when I got an invitation from Moiselle to watch the Women’s Fashion Week at The Shoppes at Marina Bay on 25th
November (9PM), I got very ecstatic. The event is by-invite only, so I really
felt honored that I have been selected. I have always dreamed of watching a
live fashion show and now that it’s already happening, I can’t be any happier.
Not only was I invited to the fabulous event, I was also allowed to bring a
guest which just made the experience even way better than I expected it to be!
Unfortunately, my hubby is not in to this kind of events so last minute changes have been made. Good thing, my friend, Abby was available and went with me to the event in place of my husband, so all went well.

We were
seated at the second row so we’re able to see each of the models clearly. By
looking at each of the dresses/coats that they’re showcasing, I can’t help but
think about the Ice Queen in Narnia.

This Fall
Winter collection from Moiselle resembles a modern Ice Queen. The overall look of
each of the pieces showcased is classy and elegant.
I love the one in the middle!
gorgeous!!!!
I love how they
obviously paid much attention and thought to detail as that is one of the first
things I always check when I’m buying new pieces of clothing.
elegant and sophisticated!
so classy!
absolutely stunning!
And they
really saved the best for last as that white dress is what the words FABULOUS, DAZZLING,
and SPLENDID stand for.
