It's been a while since I filmed a
"routine" video so I figured, why not do one today! Unlike my other
routine videos, though, I wanted to keep this raw and simple. No background
music. No voiceover. It’s just me doing my fast and simple skincare routine.
By the way, I have oily-combination skin type that is
acne-prone and sensitive. I also learned thru trying many products in the past that less is more for my skin. I also didn't use sunscreen in this routine video because when I filmed this, I didn't have any plans of going out. It's not that I always use sunscreen when I go out. What I meant was I use makeup base (bb cream or foundation) that has SPF whenever I'm going out. For products used in the video, please see below:
[ FACIAL CLEANSER ]
THE BODYSHOP NUTRIGANICS FOAMING
FACIAL WASH
I first showed this product in my
The BodyShop Haul and I've been using this for
more than 2 months now. I really like how gentle it is on my skin yet tough on
dirt that's why my skin is left fresh and clean after each wash.
[ FACIAL TONER ]
ESKINOL PIMPLE FIGHTING FACIAL DEEP
CLEANSER with Dermaclear Formula
I have been using this same toner
since November 2016 and it's the reason I have somewhat clearer skin today.
I've gone thru some bad skin breakouts in the past and this toner seems to have
kept the sanity of my skin.
[ MOISTURIZER ]
NEUTROGENA HYDRO BOOST WATER GEL
To know more about my thoughts on
this moisturizer, check out my blog post here.
[ LIP BALM ]
EOS LIP BALM
I forgot what variant it is but I
mentioned it in my Shopee Haul.
The truth is, I don’t want to write down any to-do list for this month.
I guess I’ve been sooo tired in June and July that I just want to rest
and re-charge this month. And then I thought, “those will be my to-do things for this month then!”
I have to admit
that on the first week of July, I got super excited that I started this habit
of writing down my thoughts on my phone whenever I can, hence, my to-do list post. It was great! It was
spontaneous and I was having fun. But then the thought of my fast approaching
birthday suddenly overtook me and made me very ecstatic about celebrating life
that I ended up literally having a life and not visiting this page as much as I
have planned. Needless to say, I'm super duper mega sorry.
One of the things
I never fail to look forward to whenever I’m having my doze of Harry Potter movie-marathon
are the scenes where I see those unbelievable tents. You know what I'm saying?
I'm talking about their magical tents, which look like your run-of-the-mill
tents outside but lo and behold an unexpectedly big and fully furnished
interior. Whenever I watch HP movies, I can't help but always imagine how
thrilling and amazing it would be to really stay in one of those in real life.
It would be awesome! Imagine my exuberance when my hubby showed me for the
first time the website of The Canopi Resort.
