One of the things
I never fail to look forward to whenever I’m having my doze of Harry Potter movie-marathon
are the scenes where I see those unbelievable tents. You know what I'm saying?
I'm talking about their magical tents, which look like your run-of-the-mill
tents outside but lo and behold an unexpectedly big and fully furnished
interior. Whenever I watch HP movies, I can't help but always imagine how
thrilling and amazing it would be to really stay in one of those in real life.
It would be awesome! Imagine my exuberance when my hubby showed me for the
first time the website of The Canopi Resort.

I used to not pay any attention to my birthday. I even used to think that just thinking about my birthday is already a sign of immaturity. I don’t know how I adopted that ridiculous idea and where or
who I got that from but for a long time, I have been avoiding any discussion
revolving around my birthday. But this year is different. It was my birthday five
days ago and I was very happy to celebrate it because I realized, “why
shouldn't I?” Birthdays, after all, are a reminder of God's miracle
called LIFE. So let us all be happy about our birthdays and let us do our best to
celebrate it every way we can! :)
When
I woke up this morning, the first thing I thought of was, "whoah! i'm still alive."
Don't be alarmed. I'm not sick, okay? I'm just amazed that I'm still breathing.
You see, I'm a masterpiece of God. And so are you! The awesome fact that I
still breathe is purely God's work. It's God's blessing that I still live up to this day to witness God's creations, God's miracles. And
so it dawned on me that I don't need to receive anything more than what I am
getting every single day from God to call myself blessed. The mere fact I'm
alive is reason enough to be thankful.
As
usual, my husband kissed me on the lips before he took a bath this morning. He was smiling when he got out of the shower and while he was prepping
for work. He's happy and I'm happy. Due to the nature of his job, he has to go
to work every other weekend and this is that weekend for him. He reached his office
safely and I had a wonderful morning with my sister and her family.
Truly
it's the little things that make life wonderful and all these are because of
God. He is the beginning and the end. I realized once again that just the
thought of God's love is enough to fill me up and keep me going day by day. His
grace and mercy are what keeping me alive and well up to this day. And now that
my birthday is just two sleeps away, I have nothing but never-ending gratitude
to my Father in heaven for sending Jesus Christ for my salvation and for making
it possible for me to live this long.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Lord. Thank you for all the little things that make my life happy, interesting and
wonderful.
This is one of
those beauty challenges on YouTube that I have been contemplating on doing for
the longest time. I totally love the idea of creating a makeup look using only
the products that would fit this budget. That alone is already a challenge but what
really challenged me more is the lack of options for me to choose from. I’m
currently not in the Philippines and I only have a limited selection of local
products in my makeup collection, so it’s literally a daunting task to pick products
that would help me create a full-face of makeup without exceeding the allotted 500-peso
budget.
Good thing, I have
a few items from Ever Bilena that are utterly a life-saver! And I only used a
total of 4 products for the makeup look I came up with. If you wanna know how I
created my 500-peso makeup look, just watch the video below!
PRODUCTS USED:
PHP 165.00 - Ever Bilena Matte Two-Way Cake (FAIR ORIENTAL)
PHP 185.00 - Ever Bilena Eyeshadow W/ Blush-On (SET B)
PHP 55.00
- Careline Eyebrow Pencil (BROWN)
PHP 85.00
- Ever Bilena Thick Lash Mascara (BLACK)

July, regardless
of any situation will remain my favorite month next to December because it's my
birthday month!!! Inasmuch as I hate celebrating the fact that I just got older
by another year, I can't disregard the fact that I was born in this month and
therefore a celebration of life is in order.
This is also that
time of the month where I should either be giving myself a pat on the back for
a job well done in accomplishing all 5 of my to-do list last month or kicking
myself in the butt for what a ridiculous idea to list down 5 things when I
can't even accomplish at least one of them. Gosh!
