SEPTEMBER 2017 RUNDOWN

If you’ve been following this
humble page of mine for the past couple of months, you’d easily notice that I
missed posting a To-Do list last month. Well... I actually didn’t miss it. I did
make one but thought of keeping it to myself for last month and decided to
just share with you how the month of September went via this monthly rundown
post.

So what happened
in September? I want to start off with what I mentioned in my August Rundown
about our decision to go back to a fertility specialist. After meeting our specialist
for the first time on the day of our appointment in August, several blood tests
were done on that same day. I was also supposed to have an ultrasound of my
pelvis at that time but since they were fully booked then, we had to arrange
for a later date. It was then scheduled on 6th September. From our
appointment in August, I was prescribed with two kinds of pills, one to induce
my period and another one to help me with ovulation. I took the first tablet to
induce my period on 27th August and finished the 7-day course on 2nd
September. I then patiently waited for my period, which finally came on 11th
September, and I began taking the ovulation pill on 13th September.
There are a lot of other things I want to mention and share with you all about this
experience, but I guess it’ll be better if I write a separate post about this. It’s
not easy to pray and hope for a baby for years. It’s tough and disheartening at
times but God’s love is more than enough to help us get through this phase. We
have faith that this, too, shall pass. If you’re currently on the same boat,

On a lighter note!
My sister and I were finally able to join in one of the LifeGroup sessions at Every Nation Church Singapore.
We’re unfortunately not able to do it every Sunday due to schedule reason but
we’re happy that we got to do that on the first Sunday of September.
I finally also got
to apply for my US Visa on 11th September and am very thankful that
God answered our prayers. He didn’t just allow that I get approved, He even
blessed me with a 10-year multiple-entry VISA and there are just no exact words
to express my gratitude to Him. His faithfulness is just so unbelievable. I can
still remember how nervous I was on that day and how intimidating the consular
are but God provided the confidence I needed to answer the questions the right
way. God is simply amazing. I will forever be amazed by His power and most
importantly, by His unparalleled and infinite love for us.

It was also last
month when I finally received my ring light!!! It was a late birthday gift from
my sister and I’m just sooo happy that it finally came. In fact, I already
tried filming two videos using it for my lighting. I still need to learn how to
really find the right balance with it, though, but everything’s cool!

I was also able to
make hubby the crinkles he’s been craving for and I’m happy I was able to bake
it nicely the first try. The second time was a disaster, though, LOL!

I’ll end this
